Short: Simple LhA wrapper for Workbench Author: Rob Cranley Uploader: robcranley gmail com (Rob Cranley) Type: util/wb Version: 1.0 Requires: LhA Architecture: m68k-amigaos >= 3.0 ExtractHere ~~~~~~~~~~~ ExtractHere is a simple wrapper for LhA that lets you extract an archive file in place simply by double-clicking on its icon. Using DefIcons or similar will also let you extract LhA archives that don't have their own icon file by double-clicking on the default icon applied to the archive. Installation ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ExtractHere is installed by copying the ExtractHere executable to a suitable location, e.g. C:. It can then be used by setting the default tool of the archive icon to C:ExtractHere. If you're setting the DefIcons default, set it in the ENVARC:sys/def_lha.info and ENVARC:sys/def_lharc.info icons. You'll then need to reboot for the default icon to take effect. Usage ~~~~~ Once installed, double-clicking an archive will create a drawer in the same drawer as the archive and will extract it there. It will fail if the drawer already exists. Optionally, the archive can be extracted directly into the same drawer, i.e. without creating a containing drawer. To switch to this mode, enable the NODIRS tooltype in the ExtractHere icon. Beware, files will be overwritten without warning! A requester will let you know when unpacking is complete. Requirements ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ExtractHere requires: - OS 3.0+ (Tested on OS3.9 and OS4.1) - LhA installed in the system path, e.g. C: Changes In This Version ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1.0 (22.11.2016) - First release.
