INTRODUCTION This is a small utility that is able to rename file names! Hmm, a rename command you think, why the hell I should need that? mrename is much more flexible than the original rename command. It can add extension, convert filenames to lower and to upper case, rename a bunch of files at once, select files to rename via pattern matching, act recursively and and and... ;-) LEGAL INFO mrename may be freely distributed NON COMMERCIALLY! It is freeware! Therefore mrename may NOT be distributed on AmiNet CDs, cause I consider them beeing commercial.
