Short: DateInspector - Alerts you when your clock is wrong Author: Robert Ennals Uploader: ennals aol com Type: util/boot Architecture: m68k-amigaos Date Inspector ************** by Robert Ennals This is a little util that can be put into the workbench startup drawer. Every time your machine boots, it checks the sanity of the date stored in the clock. If the date is before the date of the last boot, or massively later then it asks the user if it is correct and allows them to enter a new date. This is particularly useful for programmers and other people who rely on their clock being correct as it can spot a date corruption before it can cause problems. Many clocks with give incorrect dates if the machine has been left off for a long time (and so the battery has run out). This program is freeware. You do not have to pay me to use it, but donations are welcome. I can be contacted at ennals@aol.com and will usually reply to email.
