Short: Blue vase rotating, for DCTV Architecture: generic "VaseDCTV.anim" is a very simple animation of a blue vase rotating. I originally created the first vase animation two years ago. I used sculpt animate 4D to create a red vase rotating. It was in Interlaced HAM mode and took up 1.3 megs of space. It didn't have any cool textures or brushmaps, but for some reason it impressed people more than some of my other more complicated animations. I still use it to show off my Amiga 3000. So, I decided to recreate it in Imagine using my new DCTV. I had to change it to blue to avoid bad colour bleeding, but other than that it is very similar. The animation is in 640x200 resolution with 4 bit planes, and is stored in anim-5 format. The neat part is that the new version takes up only 497k. Anyway, that's my life story. I won't say that this animation took me months and months of slaving to create (more like three hours), but it's nice and subtle. BTW, this animation is freely distributable. I would prefer that this file accompany its distribution. //ike Taylor mataylor@undergrad.math.waterloo.edu
