MOD is a shortcut for MUSIC MODULE made for computers ----------- (originally they were made for amiga, but soon it was spread over PCs, MACs, Atari's, Workstations(!)). There exists nearly 100 diffrent formats for MODs, but the basic `MOD' still eats the biggest part of the cake of world wide available MOD-files. 'Cos this part may be 10.000, 20.000 or even 50.000 (who cares?) diffrent ones, u may find any hint useful about which ones are good or about good composers or diffrent styles.
